Climate Change in Australia - The only statistically sigificant warming in the last 40 years is in the Winter!

Been looking into Seasonal temperatures using UAH satellite temps in Australia. Given reports of this winter breaking records, I was curious what the division of warming was like when divided into Summer and Winter temperatures.


So I downloaded the data, and calculated the three month average over Summer and Winter for each year.


And here are the results


















So as you can see, the warming is really only in the winter months, not Summer. Wonder if the message about climate change was more about milder winters rather than extreme heatwaves in summer whether there would be so much support for combatting it.
